Special thoughts: This was at Pattadakal, near Badami in Karnataka. 

This could aptly be titled Ancient vs. Modern. A single frame bringing together the classic world of inscriptions on stone and the texts today on our contemporary computers! How do you like it?

12/Nov/11: This was taken at Hotel Mayura Chalukya Badami. This stair-case appeared to lead to a dead-end on to a flat wall, catching our attention!

It actually connects to the party-hall upstairs. Just that the wall in front at the top end is at an angle creating this illusion, and bringing a smile on our faces.
