Dear Raj,

At last I found time to go through your creation ‘Kanvugal Thodarum’.

Enjoyed it thoroughly !

Some of the titles brought back poignant memories of my own childhood… for example  23. En Aghagu Devathai and 25. Thanthaye Thanthavai.

In many titles you have given importance to the rhythm of words with the content taking a secondary role.  But titles where you subjugated the language to precisely convey the content are:  47. Oru Paarvaiyila 48. Nalla….thappu and 50. Chittu Kurivikenna Thattupadu.

The titles 28. Ennavan Vanthanadi and 39. Kelada Manida are truly cryptic in the way they convey a profound message and really elevate you to the level of a ‘Kavingnan' (Poet)!

You have very eloquently innovated a number of word puns.  There are more than a hundred such words that I relished…  Paar… athu… Yaar for Bharthiar is really a mind blowing play on words that is a befitting way to introduce the Mahakavi to young generation!  Other titles that I savoured your word pun are 9. Engineer… da  10.  Jodiyai Thedi…  12. Manasasura Marundu Nee (for Mahishasuramardhini…  terrific vaarthai jaalam indeed !!)  18.  Sirippu Kammal 20. Jimmiki Kammal (English rendering) and 40. The palindrome  Maayasigara Ragasiyama?

11.  Naanum Zero Than… is truly a motivational tribute to all those who could not be successful in their life or career !  How such thoughts come from an author who has been always successful in his career and life is something I was wondering !

44. Paasa Podhi is a nicely worded tribute that every husband would cheerfully bestow on his better half unhesitatingly!

Similarly you have written some nice kavidhais to extol friendship which I could appreciate but could not relate myself to, as somehow, I have been making the mistake of not taking friendship too seriously during my student days...  for that matter even now : )   !

Great Raj!  One more creation from you and one more feather on your cap.... keep writing.... best wishes !
