Maldives Trip

 

 

Starting 23Jan26 Fri 1:25 pm Indigo flight from Bangalore, arriving Male at 3 pm; and taking the Resort's speed boat service to go to Ohluveli island, taking approx. 40 min. and reached there by 5:15 pm. One night in a Deluxe Water Villa and the other two in a Grand Beach Villa. MakeMyTrip package included one Indian Lunch arrangement, one Wedding Anniversary Dinner at Island Pizza restaurant, and one Dolphin Cruise boat trip. We started back on 26Jan26 Mon around 12:15 pm on the speedboat service, and took the 4:05 pm Indigo flight from Male to reach Bangalore by 6:45 pm.

We made this four days three nights trip to Sun Siyam Resorts, Ohluveli, in Maldives.

• MakeMyTrip negotication and booking experience - could have been better: 3/5
• Indigo flights from Bangalore to Male and back: 3.25/5 
• Speedboat service from Male airport to Sun Siyam Ohluveli by the Resort: 3.25/5
• Deluxe Water Villa - Needed maintenance upgrade: 3/5 
• Grand Beach Villa (1) - We asked and moved out from this, it was the last one, crammed: 2.9/5

• Sunset Restaurant Dinner-1, Breakfast-1, Lunch-2, Breakfast-3: 3.5/5
• Namaste Restaurant Thali Lunch-1: 3.75/5
• Malaafaiy Restaurant Dinner-2, Breakfast-2: 3.5/5 
• Island Pizza Anniversary Dinner-3 - Not tasty: 2.9/5
• Dolphin Cruise Boat Trip - Not done with safety: 3/5
• Island walks and seeing the clear waters: 5/5
• Sighting special water creatures (Manta Ray, Stone Fish, Jelly Fish, Shark, Tortoise,..): 5/5
• Sunrise and sunset beachline and skyline views: 4.5/5
